If Disney Made Homes

I spotted this house in the middle of suburban Burbank. It was tucked right in between countless other contemporary homes.

I am genuinely curious what kind of person would put forward the effort to construct such a delightfully kitschy/Disney-esque storybook house? Particularly in the middle of a dense modern LA neighborhood? I mean, if you can spend the money to make this place so lavishly detailed, couldn't you afford a little more appropriate real estate location?

On the other hand, I'd love to see what this place would look like abandoned for several years!
